GALATAZÓ TRAIL 2018 (MALLORCA MOUNTAIN MARATHON) Welcome to the 2018

GALATZÓ TRAIL (Mallorca Mountain Marathon), an amazing trail running competition wich will take place the next March 18th at the Finca Es Galatzó (municipality of Calvià). The event includes two distances, mountain marathon and half marathon. Galatzó Trail is part of the Mountain Racing League of the Balearic Federation. The competition will be  refereed by the Federation and the participants will get 1,000 points if they run the Galatzó Legend and 500 points if they run the Galatzó Half.

The start and the finish line will be located at the square of Sa Vinya in Es Capdellà.

Challenges:

Galatzó legend (about 43 km): It's a demanding trail where participants face a 45 km course that begins and ends at Sa Vinya Square in Es Capdellà. In this spectacular tour the participants will have to crown two of the most emblematic mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana: s'Esclop (927 meters) and the legendary mountain of Es Galatzó (1027 meters).

(Sold Out) Galatzó half: (about 22 km).It's a trail designed for the enjoyment of mountain lovers who practice half-distances. It's also ideal for those trail-running rookies looking for their first experience in a long distance. The course runs 100% on mountain trails and it starts and ends at Sa Vinya Square in Es Capdellà. The course of the half marathon goes through some of the trails that connect the finca.
